Exclamation 6L80E Guru's! Please review my tune

I'm constantly working on the tune on my DD. It's a 2010 Silverado LC9 5.3 with a 6L80e 4X4. It's lifted on 35" tires. Intake tube, bullet muffler with after axle dump and a tune. I have the engine tune pretty well nailed down I think, but the trans tune keeps sending me in circles. I bought The Tuning School's guide and used it and was fairly happy, with the exception of a few weird quirks. After collaborating with them for a while, I got most of it ironed out. However, after doing a lot of research I found out most tuners were doing exactly the opposite as the tuning school in some of their practices. After tweaking the tune further, I've got it shifting and driving pretty darn good. However, I'm still kind of confused with the TM on these trannies. The Tuning School instructed to completely turn off the Tm, while most guys take out a percentage one way or another. Another issue I have, and have had with almost every tune calibration, is a huge flare one a 3-1 WOT downshift. When I kick it down at say 25-30mph, it revs up in neutral and won't go into gear until I let out and then it's a fairly rough shift. However, if I leave all TM Settings stock, it doesn't do it. I understand this is a Skip Shift issue. The truck shifts quick and crisp with the tune I have now, but the TM is really killing it for me. Can you guys take a look at my tune and maybe shed some light on my issue or ways to improve it? Thank you very much!

Anyone?!?? I'm thinking I need to update the Gm OS, but will that cause me to lose the license for HPTuners on my pcm?

The suggestion to turn TM completely off is absolutely idiotic. Don't do that. You can get clean, quick, firm shifts without shocking your driveline.

Updating your PCM won't make you lose your license. You will need to re-read the file and apply the changes, then reflash.

That's what I've been told. Good, I didn't think it would affect my license but wasn't sure. Any pointers to help get a good base tune for my truck? I've tried tm, no tm, tweaking engine desired torque, cold multiplier, adder modifier, and I just cannot get satisfied. I get it pulling hard with tm tweaked, but end up with really harsh shifts, or I get factory sloppy shifts. And pretty much either way, I sometimes get that 3-1 flare.

Without giving you a file, I can't really offer much.

Less is more. That's probably the best advice I can give.
