    "read entire" on my 2010 gives Stabile track DTC, won't let me clear it.

    I just did a "read entire" to get my 2010 chevy 1500 5.3 stock tune and she is right "F'ed" up now.

    The read seemed to go fine, at 50% the truck did some clicking and beeping, but the read finished and things looked good.

    I went to re-start the truck and all hell broke loose! It says "service stability control" and the whole truck screams (whine from tranny) and it won't let me select any gears????

    WTF, I wasn't worried about this at all I havent even purchased the rights to tune this truck yet, I was just reading it?

    I need to figure this out by the am or I won't be driving to work, any help? any ideas? I mean heck I shouldn't have changed anything no?

    My 08 Acadia did that but after a key off it was fine. I think when it switches from reading the ecm to the tcm it interupts the communication between the modules.

    This scared the heck out of me. My 08' vette never did anything like this (manual)

    So I guess it's common, ecm lost communication with TCM for a second during the read, threw her into limp mode. So when I saw the DTC, if I had of ignored it for 10 min it would have been fine. Instead I tried clearing it (no go) then tried starting and got all panicy like a 4rth grade girl

    All's good after I came in, had a beer, and did some searching (after my post, I know I know, sorry) and found to just let it find the TCM again.

    That's weird and a little scary, sorry for the false alarm!
