I've only been on domestic Canadian flights with my interface, but never had a problem.
I'm sure they just see it as another piece of electronics hardware; it has a circuit board and a USB plug.

I’m just flying to Scranton, PA with a friend to buy a car and drive it back to Indy. It needs some idle tuning so I thought I would do it on the way.
