Fan harness for e-fan operation via ECM
OK, so I bought a fan harness for my '02 Silverado to work with the F-body fans and be controlled by the ECM. The harness says to set-up the tune to use the series/parallel option or the HP Tuners needs updated. I have no such option, I thought I was running the "beta". How do I find out what version I'm using, and what I need to update to?

Post your tune.
You need to select: EDIT-VIEW-ADVANCED
Then go to System-Fans
It's set to No Fans by default. Change it to 2 fans and set the temperatures you want each fan to turn on and off
Then go to System-A/C and set Recirc Option to Fan #2
However, you need to install the pins to the PCM connectors because your harness doesn't have the wires to activate them. Don't forget they provide ground to the relay.

Thank you. 1 more question, the harness has a note that says if you don't run it on series/parallel it will melt the harness. Also I don't have the A/C Recirc Option to Fan #2.
All I have is the A/C disable/enable TPS and RPM. The view is in advanced as well. Thanks for any help.

I have the 2.22.3xx version, is that the new one? Also am tuning a 2002 Silverado 5.3. Will any of the file or config info help.

I'd need to know which harness you have.
Post your tune to check if I can see the parameters you can't

I can see the parameters. You need a newer Beta.
Fans are already set to 2 Fans in your tune. A/C is set to Recirc, change it to Fan #2
On/off temps are a little low, don't know if you set them like that but a little higher will be better for fuel economy

Enable the PCM's fan #2 output
If set to AC Recirc it won't control a fan so you won't be able to set up your fans in series/parallel, because that setup requires 2 working fan outputs
Set it to Fan #2, then copy the settings from a 99-02 Fbody stock tune

OK, that's great. Thank you so much. I was all lost in the sauce, I thought that the series/parallel was an option under fan type. THANK YOU!!
