You can read the tune without using credits.

To apply the credits you have to have the interface plugged up and connected to the editor. Once that is up you should be able to do it. If you keep having issues post up screen shots.

Thanks so much .. I got it all up and running , did a scan and read the tune .. I compared it to a few different tunes from the repository some things are a bit different .
Would love for you to take a look at tune ? can I sent it to you ?

    tune

Here you go .. tune .. runs good but once and while coming off throttle idles dips low and sometimes stalls.
Noticed in scan STFT is moving up and down 3.8 %

Going to drive around and try to log when stalls..

Might want a higher idle speed. Also play with the timing to see if you can find a sweet spot.

Just went out for run , of coarse did not stall and did not save scan .. errrgg ..
    Will go out again ..
Not really sure how to play with idle timing just yet , just got Hp yesterday and was up half the night looking over tunes and comparing with mine ,, plus have been all over

did notice a strange dip in the (main spark vs airmass open throttle High oct chart ?
at 4400-4800rpm air mass dips to 38.9890 from 40.0000 then back up @ 5200prm .
And "throttle cracker speed was set to enable 5mph .

I just increased idle ,( smoothed out (main spark vs airmass 4400-4800rpm open throttle High oct)
and reset Throttle Cracker to stock ..

    scan posted

Did a scan and log . Runs great then out of now where idle dips way down and stalls . On this scan look at frames 540 -580 rpm drops to around 300 almost stalled then came back .It seems to like the idle increase to 875 ..

Might need to play with throttle cracker airflow to get that up. I would even try the idle at 900 to smooth it out. Not sure what clutch you have, but a light weight clutch can increase the need for higher idle speed as the PID and spark controls just can't catch it quick enough sometimes.

I would start with the throttle cracker though.

seems like right before its going to stall both STFTs jump up to 16.4 / 18.4 then the idle starts to go down ..

What to you suggest I do with cracker

  16. #16
Since a LS6 is DBW and does not have IAC valve don't think Throttle Cracker is functional ? correct ?

Throttle cracker is functional, it adjusts the TPS %. I would start by increasing it at the lower RPMs, 1600 and below

Ok , will try that .. have to get Wb going over the weekend to see whats going on with A/f at idle

  19. #19

stalling going back to idle sometimes scan attached

I did another scan just when the idle falls off the map jumps way up idle comes down .

I have WB connected all looks good @ idle 13.88-14.50 varies ..but when on throttle seem to be running lean stays in the hi 13s -low 14s ? that differs from the dyno read out I have showing a/f steady from 2500-6800 12.5-12.9 ?

I tried tweaking idle a/f and timing did not help .. I am thinking know maybe I do have a issue with TB ?

Post the tune before the log then the one you changed to.

Dyno fueling, in my experience, rarely equals street fueling. That is why I don't dyno tune, you are yet another example.
