I've got a 2013 ZL1 A6 with basic bolt ons (NW102, 2.38 upper, ported blower, headers, ID850s) with an odd manual downshift issue. When you tap down, it goes through a Fst TqEx type of torque management. If you don't touch the gas, it is very quick and completes the downshift. If you push the gas while tapping down, it stays in this mode until you let off the gas. The car flips out, has no timing, and gets real lean. I have never seen this before on any A6 car and was curious if anybody knows what this TM style is, or why it seems to stay active of you're in the throttle on downshifting. I suspect it has something to do with the throttle body and the rev matching procedure on downshifts, but can't say for sure.
Just wondering what this type of TM is.
