Difference btwn no mil light and SES e/d

Edit *Okay, did a little reading. What is difference between MIL light and SES light. *End of Edit

In the editor under engine diagnostics, what is the difference between the No mil light and the button switches of SES enable or disable. How about No error reported. Thanks,

MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) is the same as the SES light.

Some emissions testing regimes will see the test disabled, as
a failure (they know you hacked it off). To pass you need the
test enabled and to have no stored codes. So you would want
the test enabled, no error reported. It seems an overly fine
    distinction, but that's the deal.
