04 pontiac on 04 commodore cable

does anyone know if i can flash my 2004 commodore pcm with a 2004 pontiac GTO using my enhancedd i/o cable which i bought for my 2004 vy ss ute. if i can right the pcm will i be able to read it again with my cable

My guess is no. You will have to purchase the GTO model to be able to read the bin file. They are two different vehicle types. Unless of course you bought the hardware this week and got two vehicle types for your std package.

the PCMs are different between the GTO and the VY dunnydoor...

if it were possible you would need the license for the GTO. Whats wrong with using your VY prog? GTO engine is a lot differnt than the LS1 in the VY (cam etc.)
