    ltft and a/f

why does everybody try and get there ltft to read 0 to -4 when the pcm can accive a 14.7 to 1 a/f ratio by using the ltft as they are???

the only thing i can think of is when car is using the pe table in open loop it uses the data off the ve table which would give the wrong a/f ratio??

    is this right???

If the LTFT is positive when you got WOT an extra amount of fuel is injected so the fueling can be inconsistent. No additional fuel is added when the LTFT is 0 or less, so the correct AFR is commanded by the PE table. So aim for 0 or slightly negative LTFT's
