4L80e trans overtemp settings ignored

Our trans overtemp settings seem to be ignored.
Trans hot warning is coming on at around 200 degrees and going into limp mode no matter what we put into the trans overtemp settings.
Using MPVI, flashing the config with high speed disabled.
I have read the settings back from the vehicle after flashing just to verify that our settings were flashed correctly.
Any idea whats going wrong?
