Upgraded to 1.5 and now get olch3x8.ocx error

I can open the program, load up my bin file, open any screen and when I go to open any sub screen to look at values, I get:

In this case:
Open the program
File, Open, select my .bin file
Edit, Speedometer, Speed Limiter
Click the Speed Limiter vs. Gear button.
Poof - error.
Click OK - program exits.

Happens on other tasks as well - any of the buttons under Transmission, Engine

Is there a /debug mode switch or something that will turn on a log that I can send to you guys?

Did you install the update over the original program?

If you deleted the original program, or tried to install the update by itself you will get that error.

install the CD first.

Then install the update.

The update must be installed over a CD installation as the download page indiciates.

This will fix your problem.

Nope - this was a 1.3 -> 1.4 -> 1.5 original install. I'll try uninstalling the whole thing and doing a 1.3 to 1.5 update - couldn't find my original disc right off, so I didn't go through the excercise yet.. I'll let you know if it still blows up.

Not to hijack but can you install version 1.0 and then 1.5 or do you need to successively install the versions? 1.0 -> 1.1 -> 1.2 -> 1.3 -> 1.4 -> 1.5

You can install your CD and then install 1.5 directly over it.. No need to go through all the versions.
