    I have a 04 gto with 4l60 spear tech conversion plug looking to program my trans can I use a data file from a truck to make it work
    Like a segment swap

    The 2004 GTO used OS 12587604 ... this OS was unique to the GTO, therefore no compatible 4L80 segment (i.e. same OS) exists to facilitate the swap.

    You still should be able to program it, just as you'd program the 60. What do you need to do that you can't do by programming it the way it is?

    Wouldn't the OS be similar in 04 looks like the express and savanah van had a cable ls 4l80 combo so possible segment swap?

    The Speartech harness supports the traditional segment swap. Wiring to use the 60 segment adds a few relays and a little more. That's a different conversion harness than the one he bought (unless Speartech makes two versions now; he didn't use to).

    Yeah, I was thinkin he had the conversion harness to run a 80 without doing the segment swap. He's got the pigtail to pin into the PCM connector.

    Hhmmm, I just tried to open the .bin I just posted and can't get it to work. I have that tune in .cal and .tun (Tunercat and EFILive) but can't post either one of those formats on this forum. I removed the .bin from the previous post.

    Why not run the 4l60E segment with the relay mod? That what I do on my Fbody
