    08/09 vs 2010 HHR SS

Helping a buddy out with his 2010 HHR SS and I'm noticing quite a few changes with regard to MAF, injector/fueling settings, MALT and cams.

Can anyone tell me if the changes related to the MAF/MAF Frequency and injectors/fueling has to do with the cam settings for emissions reasons?

Anyone ran into this? I can only assume the same general changes were made on the 2010 model LNF variants?

After doing some searching, I've found posts that mention putting the cams back to the 08/09 settings and that it would help the car tremendously with acceleration but wouldn't the MAF/injector settings also need to be changed?

The cam tables were 'updated' for 2010, and as you posted the earlier ones made more powa.

The MAF settings are different on the HHR for a different airbox/intake configuration.

Never noticed the inj differences before though.

Thanks IAB. The MAF changes make sense but I'm talking about the difference between the 08/09 and 2010 HHR, not between an HHR and Cobalt MAF settings.

    Here's what I'm talking about:

MAF Frequency of 08/09 HHR SS vs 2010 HHR SS (08/09 on top)

MAF Correction of 08/09 vs 2010(08/09 upper left):

If the airbox wasn't redesigned, perhaps the engineers revisited a fuel trim issue. Just guessing, sorry.
