Its obviously not their problem, its mine. So along the same lines if my car's ecu was to fail and I had to have it replaced I would need to burn 2 more credits? It seems the intent of the credit per ECU is more control of ensuring the software isn't purchased and whored around to every friends car, however in this case it would still by my car the only car the software was used on but with a different ecu installed. For the cost I spent on the software I would hope there would be a solution to this rather than just getting hit for another 100 bucks. In this case its not another car, just a different or new ECU.
