LSJ Flash, Car won't crank for about 10 minutes

I have a feeling this is a security issue. But very frustrating.

If I'm out tuning for MAF or VE, I make the changes I want, save the file and reflash the car.

The car won't even attempt to turn over for about 10 minutes.

After waiting ~10 minutes, the car turns over like it always would.

Is there anything I can do to prevent waiting the 10 minutes?

sounds like a vats related issue to me.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I hate to bump up an aging thread, but I am having this very issue and the only variable that has changed was upgrading from v.2.22 to v.2.24. When I connect the scanner to log data, the VATS light on the dash lights up, and the car will not start until I either re-flash the ECM or wait approximately 10 minutes. I also noticed while troubleshooting in the drive way that the AC switch turns off when this happens. I have tried deleting all of the .os files in the vehicle folder and deleting the scanner config file. Is there any other thoughts about how to correct this issue? It is a real pain to either flash or wait it out when logging.

Edit: same model car - 2005 Cobalt SS/SC

Really?!? The only variable that changed is the vcm software from 2.22 to 2.24. It does not make sense to me to be a VATS issue when the issue did not occur with v.2.22. Is it possible to go back to v.2.22?

You could go back to 2.22, however I do not believe it to be a software issue, hence my diagnosis.
