    l67 swap qusetion

when doing a l67 swap into a car other than one with the l67 option, such as a cavalier is there a security or feul enable to code into the pcm? im running times in the 15.0-15.1 stock with the l67.The grand prixs run this stock and are 600lbs heavyer. So why an i slow? i have intense standard pcm for a 99 gtp. Also im using the 4t65e. my best 1/4 is 14.3@101mph. i have a scan with a 3.4 pully, ported tb, 104's, standard pcm, open exhaust 2.5" and cold air.

The first thing I would do is change the timing tables back to stock. That intense pcm is commanding to much timing for you. You were getting 7.7 degrees of kr The stock timing table will probably end up running more timing than you are now, which will give you some a little more power.

1/4 mile times are all about the launch, GTPs can ussually hit 2.0s and 2.1 60 foot times on street tires. Your trap is decent, but being 600 pounds lighter, I would think you should be trapping a little higher.

It also looks like you're running out of injector. Inj DC is high 90's. What other mods does the motor run?

I've been told that the injectors are good in those motors till 100% even higher by a bit. I'd say the timing table and your fuel trims will be key to getting your car in line right now.
What is in place for torque reduction? Properly setting up the trans is very important too. If you search some of Russ K's posts you'll find trans tables for your set up. Compare them to what you have and see what you think.
