I had a pcm go bad and replaced it. I gave the vin # and mileage. Got the new pcm and it says I need to re license it. I thought it was registered to the vin #. is their nething I can do or did I just lose 2 credits.

single vcm licenses are locked to the vcm id number unique to each pcm, not a vin number.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
