Like I said just retuned my 09 g8 gt for the new cam Sunday and now my converter isn't locking at all it seems. I have areo force gauges and monitor my converter slip this is how I know its not locking up now..

Look at TCC_Mode and if you see "--3--" (table display;
can't plot it) then you are being bugged by misfires and
want to scale the misfire tables up.
Sorry but I'm not following what your saying, I don't have much experience with it.
What he is saying is if there are any misfires reported it will prevent the converter from locking. You can log misfires and if any are seeing you can adjust the misfire tables to be less sensitive. Most aftermarket cams will cause false misfires with the stock settings.

I don't see a misfire table I do get the random po300 misfire code though. My tune is attached at the top here if you want to peak at it.
OK i turned off the po300 last night and it will lock up in every gear like it suppose to but not in 6th? I just changed these cells and will be trying this now. Thanks i hope this works
