What is the maximum amount of credits and licenses an interface can have?

Each ORIGINAL MPVI Pro & Std interface has 407 license slots, though the last one is reserved so in essence it has 406 usable slots for licenses.

For instance:
the Unlimited gen 3 Car license uses just 1 slot
A single year/model license uses 1 slot
A single vcm license uses 1 slot

When you upgrade to year/model or unlimited vcm licenses using the upgrade credit system those old slots do not get freed up for additional slots.



The app key system has a hardcoded upper limit so we've implemented a soft limit of 999 credits per make.

For instance:
You could have 999 GM credits, 999 Ford Credits & 999 Dodge credits on a single interface without issue.

Note: MPVI2 interfaces do not have any of these limits so are a much better option for all of our customers.
