quick question regarding trans shift speed (mph) vs trans shift rpm

I'm trying to set my 4t45e for my 2.4 NA cobalt from 6500rpm to 6850rpm, I originally thought that I could do a 5% increase in RPM and then just thought i could apply that to the MPH chart, no go. So i did it by a trans ratio gear calculator and came up with 3mph addition to 1>2 shift mph, 5mph to 2>3, and 7mph to 3>4 but i havent been able to test the 3>4 shift. Would this be the correct calculation to make? Then how would i go about applying this to part throttle shift tables as well?

    My wot is set... 1>2 40mph 6800rpm 2>3 72mph 7000rpm
done in the trans> shift speed> full throttle.

I did it by taking a log to see what mph it was at just below what rpm I wanted.
    1>2 6500 was 39 2>3 6600 was 71
from there I adjusted wot shift speed up 1mph in both 1>2 2>3 (see above)
and the wot shift rpm up to 6800 in the 1>2 and 7000 in the 2>3.
it always shifts before I reach more than 50 rpm's than commanded.
I'm not sure and may be wrong but from what I experienced, what needs to happen to make the shift at wot is:
EXCEED the shift mph and it then uses the RPM shift point.
Reason I say this is, now it shifts 1>2 at 42-43 and 6800+ but less than 6850
and 2>3 at 78-79 and 7000+ but less than 7050.
Should work that way for you.
I changed tire calc only cause I run a larger tire only.
