I received an error "Security Access Denied" when I tried to read or write file through HPTuner editor but the scanner is working fine.

mine done that today on a 06 trailblazer ss. then I went over to my 05 Silverado and read and wrote just fine. did you have any luck or is it a tuner locked file
I had mine do that a few times. Do you have the latest release version. It is updated daily. I have had this happen a few times, download the latest version from your customer page, and this sometimes fixes

Yep Ben Charles is right she's tuner locked, only the tuner that locked can unlock it.... but there are guys around that can unlock it for you and flash a stock tune that matches your OS in it...VCM SUITE here in AUS can unlock the pcm for AUS customers.......Cheers Bret ULTIMATE LSX TUNINGOriginally Posted by Ben Charles
