C6 drag race th400 vss problem

We have a drag race c6 in for tuning that has a th400 swap. We do not have any vss signal so it has a 5700 rpm limit. Is there anything i can do to get around this problem?

Post the tune and we can show you, but yes, you should be able to remove that limit.

I wonder if you need to swap the OS to a manual, you must get an error everytime you try to write, as it tries to do the trans as well.

You can read the file out of an auto PCM with the TCM unplugged (have to jump the CAN wires) and flash it. It gives you an auto file without the trans side.

This one is flashed to a manual file with tec 2 but with tcm plugged in. Before that it only rev 3000 rpm. I can rev it to 7000 rpm in park but not during a dynopull.

What diff are you using? The manual cars have the VSS in the diff housing itself. If you're on a manual file, it'd be a simple thing to install a VSS in the diff and just wire it to the PCM.

VSS High goes to C1 71 and VSS Low goes to C1 72.

Yes, you can loop out the CAN wires.
