scanner connects, editor doesn't ???
today was the first time I have had time to use HPT since I got the update. nice changes BTW. the scanner connects no problem. I went to read the VCM and it tells me something to the effect of the cable is not connected and to check, blah blah blah.. the usual stuff. laptop is fully charged, or was when I started, the cars battery was at 11.8. the scanner sees it, and will pull DTC. I don't get it.
what else can I check/do? I just need to flash back to stock numbers.

Screenshot of the entire screen when the error occurs would be helpful.

Well as luck would have it, it works today. Chalk another one up for Murphy's Law I guess. It really threw me because one connected and the other didnt. All is well now though. Thanks for your time, just hope it doesn't pop up again.
If the scanner is connected the editor cannot connect, hence the reason I wanted to see the entire screen

It popped up because you cant be connected to the scanner and then flash your car. you need to first disconnect the scanner then you can do what you want........
