I bought the scanner because I was hunting problems and wasn't sure I wanted to retuning the PCM. Now I thing I want to try to optimize the setting for where and how I drive. The problem is that I don't see any post that answer the question of how I can upgrade.

Pretty sure its just a matter of purchasing 2 credits to go from the scanner only to editor + scanner.

OK, that would be simple enough. I have an 01 Monte Carlo and an 05 F150. What type and how many credits would I need to buy?

2 gm & 2 ford for the fseries My recommendation would be to just buy either 2 gm or 2 ford, read both vehicles with the editor software so if you get an error of some sort we can figure that out.
