have a couple questions regarding HPT

im contemplating buying a VCM suite to tune my m6 2004 vette. plans with the car are full bolt ons and possibly forced induction in the future. for right now its basically stock with an intake. LT headers will be next and at that point i know that a tune will be beneficial. first question is can the throttle logic be changed with the dbw to be more like 1:1 where throttle input is reflected by throttle position at the throttle body(more like dbc, since i dont want to make the switch). also i know fuel and timing tuning without a wideband o2 is straight retarded, so what widebands are compatible the the vcm suite. thanks in advance

The MPVI Pro box has a green connector on the left side that allows you to connect external devices and log data. It does this by reading voltage. Within the configuration you tell it how to interpret that voltage and turn that into the value that you want logged (AFR/Lambda, fuel pressure if you're using a fuel pressure sensor, etc.). If you go with the non-pro device you would have to connect the wideband output to a sensor that is not used for engine management (there are 2, but ive not used them...I think EGR may be one?...there are writeups)

The short answer to your question is "any wideband device that has a voltage output can be made to work with HPTuners."
