I'll grab a 2006 file shortly. I can probably get more. My friend has four... but three of them don't have factory ECMs anymore.

we need to test reading first. once we're confident that reading is good we'll move to writing in beta.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Will this work on the Gen 4 with the Mopar PCM or will we have to reinstall the stock PCM?

I'd be curious to know this as well...it'd be interesting even if it could only be read, just so you could (hopefully) compare the Mopar PCM to the OEM calibration.

None of the Gen4 operating systems/controllers can be read out.

So, if you use our product to tune over a Mopar PCM, you will lose whatever settings your Mopar PCM had as you essentially start with a stock tune.

I still need to clean this process up to make it more apparent to the end user.

One of our engineers is putting the final touches onto the JTEC+ master def now, we added a few more tables for the venom pcm's, so things are looking to be going pretty well from an engineering standpoint.

And as proof that even engineers have a sense of humor check out the file name smh lol

Will HPT ever be able to read out the Venom PCMs? Or is that not possible with the rolling encryption?

I think I'd only feel confident if I could look at a stock file vs. a Mopar PCM file side by side to see what they changed so I could have a better idea about what does what.

Steve, you won't be able to read out the mopar PCM.

Chris has written a custom operating system that we'll likely deploy with our tuning solution. We believe this will allow you to read out your tune after you've started from scratch with our custom OS.

There isn't any magic in the Mopar PCM. Any tuner will quickly be able to make all the same changes and more with our product. I've been tuning my car for quite some time now with great success.

So if you write over a stock or Mopar PCM with this custom OS, is there any way to go back to stock? Or is the PCM permanently altered?
