4x4 relevant for segment swap?

I'm trying to put together a truck with an LQ4 and 4L80 and it's a 4x4. Does it matter if the engine code is from a 4x4 or do the engine and trans segments both have to be from a 4x4?

Just to close the question for people who might find this in a Google search 5 years from now, I ended up converting to a blue/red computer that was already set up for a cable 6.0 and 4wd 4L80 so I am no longer looking into it.
