New Parameter Added - Traction Control Disable

I have added a parameter to all of the currently supported V6 and V8 Mustangs (2005-2010). It is in 2.24. Build 515

The fact that we were missing this was brought to my attention over the weekend. Not sure how I overlooked it myself! Doh!

Set this value to zero to permanently disable the traction control system. Vehicles with the interior upgrade package will get a few errors on the dash due to the way this eliminates the traction control. This is normal.

It may, I have not looked. Do you have a traction control button?

2.24.518 and above has the traction control scalar added to all Mustangs, and Aussie vehicles we support. :-)

On my 2009 FGt I tried the values 0,10,20,30 and it did not work. Just threw the ZF6sp into spaz mode stuck in first gear with trans error comming onto dash.

Put back to 40 which is factory setting and back to normal.

    I tested this solution:

Works without setting lamps on dash.

I'm looking at other ways to disable it. This method works on the US vehicles, but being that those cars come with a separate TCM , there may be some additional changes that have to be made. I will investigate.

Any updates on disabling TC without dash lights?

I don't have a "etc torque reduction vs rpm" table. Maybe it got renamed since then.

    Maybe setting this to zero:

[ECM] 44814 - Desired Air Mass Multiplier (Traction Control): Amount of Desired Air Mass for use in traction control.

After more reading, I tried setting [ECM] 44814 - Desired Air Mass Multiplier (Traction Control) to 100% not 0%, but TC still definitely kicks in and closes the throttle.

Setting "traction control disable" to 0, does effectively disable TC and SC. But it leaves you with an annoying flashing ABS light (despite ABS still working).

Any way we can disable that light? I scanned the DTC settings and don't see anything likely there.

SCT has a parameter that you can ask support for but to be honest, I never messed with it so I'm not sure it will do what you want.
