Zeroing knock retard on a C7?

Anyone been able to zero out knock retard on the C7's?

100% sure were dealing with false knock-want to test out this theory.

    TIA!

did you make fueling adjustments and lower timing? so see if it elevated the knock. could also be burst knock. log the correct PID

yes, mine does not ping at all and does not log any retard.

most of the high octane table is within a few points of the stock table, however....i could add a bit here and ended up removing a bit there. not a huge opportunity here on pump gas, imo.

Just got my hands on a c7 with an ECS/Paxton system. Its the first c7 I've had my hands on and it has a TON of KR from start to finish during a wot pull on the dyno. The car was tuned elsewhere but with issues.....they just zero'ed out the "Base Retard" under "Knock Retard Attack".

With their tune there was audible knock in the lower rpms and tip in.... I set all the knock sensor parameters back to stock except with a little bit quicker decay rate and it pulls 8 to 10 degrees of kr for the entire dyno pull. I reduced the maximum kr to 4 degrees (not what I would prefer to do) and set the base retard to .5 across the board and it still manages to pull 4 degrees for most of the run.... The car made 570 rwhp with 14 degrees of timing and the knock sensors off but isn't consistent at all. With the same tune it has made 530. Plugs look good....NGK 6510's. 8 lbs of boost.

Yeah with forced induction the knock sensors go CRAZY on these cars. If you leave the sensors stock even if you run SUPER conservative timing (making less HP than stock) you'll still end up with KR, I'm hoping the 2015 calibrations (especially the Z06) can give us some additional parameters to play with that will help on the 2014's...

Additionally the 5.3 and 6.2 DI trucks do not seem to have this issue, all the cars I've done so far all had the 12660065 OS, I don't know if the other Corvette OS has the same issues.

Can you post the stock read?

Never mind you didn't do the original tune.
