    why is my WB overheating so much??

    keep getting code 8 on my LC1. I moved the bung to the y in the ypipe because it was overheating in the header as well. I am still an n/a 346 with heads and cam so I dont see how the EGT is getting that hot at the y.

    I've never had this code show (on the Camaro or Cobra) and I put the sensor in the rear 02 bung.

    lookin like that heat shield may help out, I am going to do that tomorrow and hope that will take care of it

    go make a little copper heatsink to help out...I did this on mine recently just as a safety measure because I had a buddy with one that overheated..different wideband controller...but same sensor
