    85mm MAF tune steps??

I am about to put my 85mm MAF from Pace Performance (supposed to be set to work with the F-body) back on the car. When I re-install it, do I need to re do the LTFT tables?? Or can I start making power runs and checking knock retard and O2 millivolts?

You will have to log and judge by your fuel trims. They say they are calibrated but you'd be surprised how much you will need to change it.

    Step 1: Remove the resistor
Step 1a: remove the screen if you want
Step 2: paste in the table from a Z71 6.0 truck

There are no 6.0's stock in a Z71 truck, it would have to be a 5.3 or 4.8. Did you mean 6.0 from an HD? Still not sure though, 5.3 and 6.0 use the same MAF if I am not mistaken and the calibration is not much different.

A Z71 from 2002, supposedly 6.0, is one of the tables
I've collected and it's the one I've been using with my
descreened truck MAF. That one has the low end properly
populated (not zeroes) and has a richer calibration than
the rest of the 85mms (matches other 6.0).

its a 5.3 file then unless they have done a swap. Now I have an 02 PCM in my 99 and it was quite different than the stock 02 file. The values might be the same for the MAF table.
