Chevrolet Impala SS 2004 3.8 Supercharger with another problem

    Hi,

    Here my question:

During the last 2 months, i have done a job on my Eaton M90 Supercharger, i mean enlargement diameter inlet and and polish, light enlargement and polish the V outlet. I have changed the 6 fuel injectors and some another works...

I have done my first scan with HP Tuners, i know that i must probably change the PW for the injectors, the problem is i can`t read the AFR parameter with HP Tuners scan probably because the VCM on my car cannot make the AFR reading ( an option ? ), so today i have done a job welding ( bung ) on the manifold exhaust and i have set the wide band sensor from AEM, but frankly it`s difficult to watch the laptop with HP Tuners scan and watch the AFR gauge ( during driving, i know it`s unsafe, that is why my question )...

My question, do you think that it is possible to connect by connecting wires ( like backprobe ) my wide band sensor to the PCM on my car ( of course after finding the good connection ), and if it`s possible how to tell to the VCM on my car that there is a new element to read ( i mean the wide band sensor ) ?

Finally, i could read and register the AFR with all other parameters.

I hope that my question is relatively clear, if it`s not, tell me thanks all...

If you have the MPVI PRO it is easy to use the analog output of the guage to the MPVI and log the afr through the scanner. THen you have to log the parameter on the mpvi and build a histogram to log afr error

You can log it through the EGR, just have to run some wires and make a pid.

I think there is a right up somewhere. The grand prix forum might have some info on it too.

I don't log my WB on my GTP, I just glance it on my pillar pod, if I see 11ish I know I'm fine.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

Ok so i have another problem,

When a drive my car during scan mode, my both LTFT & STFT gauges fall down to 0.0 %, the best for me to be understood by you would be to put the scan of my car on the HP Tuners forum, do you know how to proceed ?

    Thanks...

the LTFT&STFT always zero out when in PE mode, id be more concerned on the negative timing on WOT and the spark knock is killing you, do you have a tune file to look over?
