Engine died after reflash

I had flashed my pcm and was running some logs on my original pcm file I had been running for months now. I was about 15 min into driving and did a 2 gear put to red line. At redline the car died. It restarted but every time I hit the gas it would fall on its face. So I got pulled over and noticed I had no fuel gauge and I had an error for the crank position sensor. Well it would of been the later alone I would of assumed the sensor went bad. Seeing that my car has 98k hard miles I am sure. Well just for kicks I tried to flash it to one of my tuning setups then I flashed it back to my original configuration again. fuel gauge came back and car drove home fine with no other errors. Anyone have any thoughts or is this car going to let me sit again?
