2008 Corvette customer had cam installed brought to have tuned, drove car 8 miles no shifting issues using paddles shifter drove easy to get here, did read entire file to get to put in baseline file upon writing came up with tcm write error have shap shot, when closed then rewrite no error but no trans shifting, Did a write entire, write calibration only, disconnected battery, Erased Hp tuners from laptop and re down loaded along with driver, Got another laptop down loaded current 2.24 with differant laptop still same thing, Send car to dealer had them flash ecu and trans tcm drove back all shifting ok did a read entire made base file loaded no errors but again no trans shifting, Tried loading back origanal file from dealer back in and still no shifting ?? Any suggestions would be great
Same day tuned a 2009 g8 cammed car all good along with a bolt on 06 gto.
Now have a 2008 pontiac g8 went to put in base start up file and comes up trans tcm write issue ?? Only way to load any file in it is to do a write complete to get it to. Is their a issue with automatic 2008 files or read write first time for this ? Again any help or suggestion .... John
