I submitted a support ticket and this was the response I received. Just making sure if this is not possible or maybe possible in the future?

?Looking deeper into the vehicle, the 02 Explorer utilizes an odd ball ECM. The PCM in the early 4.0 explorer is a PTEC ECM and not an EECV. Unfortunately, this is not a supported module.?

Correct, those did use a PTEC and we may get there, but currently adding 216K and 112K EEC vehicles for now.
