Idle MAP value on 2014 LS3

What is the ideal MAP value I am looking for at idle? I understand I need to advance or retard the timing to change this, but not sure the number I am shooting for. Thank you

The map values are different depending on the amount of vacuum that particular cam/head/intake combo will produce. There is no "ideal" MAP value.

You want as much vacuum as possible, so the lower the kPa at idle the better.

So you want to keep the RPM up around 850 on a +5.7 overlap cam?

    I have 2.5 overlap and it's happy at 750.

It could have idled as low as 650, but it smelled too much. Upping it to over 700 helped with the smell. Yours should be good around 800.
