2007 Dodge Dakota 4.7 - About to start tuning

I have done much to my 1998 GTP in the way of tuning, but have never tuned anything else. I just bought a 2007 Dodge Dakota and wanted to start tweaking, but I'm not sure there is anything to gain on a stock setup. I've looked on here and on other sites, but have not read anything about tuning these motors. I don't see any problems while scanning (knock retard is always 0 and fuel trims are damn near perfect). It seems a little weak and gas mileage is low, so I was going to start by playing with timing first.

Has anyone done anything to a 4.7 in the way of tuning? If not, I'll post what I do but like I said, this is completely stock.

I have no help to offer, but post up your datalogs as you go. I have a co-worker with a 4.7 Dakota that has been inquiring about having me play around with his truck. I'd like to learn about what this motor likes along with you.

I have a 2006 Dakota with the 3.7 that I've started to mess with, the biggest improvement so far came from adjusting the power enrichment settings. My truck would make it all the way through 1st gear before it started to enrich and wouldn't be fully in power enrichment until after the 1-2 shift. Not sure how the 4.7 is setup but I would start by looking there.

I have done lots of 4.7s but not with HP. Get rid of the delays to PE, and do not go crazy on WOT timing.
