Yes, pretty much everything was EEC-V from 1996-2004, with a few exceptions.

Yes, it takes a while.

We have not implemented the high speed communications for the older Ford PWM protocol yet. When (if) we do, that will reduce the times by a huge amount.

Make sure there is not a chip on the J3 port.

Email your debug.dat file (My Documents/HPTuners/Settings) to support, and we will have a look at it.

is there actual support for the 96-04 stuff yet or are you looking for just the reads from oem vehicles?, we are primarily a ford/gm shop and have access to a lot of the eec v stuff. Does access to this beta provide any benefits, Eric? thanks
