    ZF TCM - 99% Sure.....

.... that I have located the 7,000 RPM limit that puts the car into failsafe.

If you have a Falcon with a 5.0L and this issue, post up your file, I'll manually make the change, and we can test it.

Nice one eric as this was a typical issue with the fast snappy 1-2 change throwing the car into limp mode

Yeah, I found another parameter that probably deals with that. Its a rate limit.... RPM per second.

Keen to see they outcome of this Eric, My car will bang the limiter on a 1/2 shift so it's not just 5.0's that have the issue.

Good to know. Post your file (or email it to me), I'll make some changes to it, if you will give me some feedback on it.

Have someone testing it now. Will add the parameters once I get positive feedback from the changes.

Hi Eric, Have you had any luck with the above issue. I'm still yet to check codes on mine, but experienced something similar on a 2-3rd shift last night with some spirited driving.

I have someone testing it. I just sent them an update today to try, as the first thing I send did not work.

There is few guys having issues with Big Converters in the ZF eric, there appears there is a max slip table, or max input vs OSS table we don't have access too, It appears the converters won't lockup and mph is way down at the track. Are you able to see if there is anything in there that could prevent the converter from locking up.

The code I've got was P0701- No MIL- Occured on 2-3rd gearshift (might have just kissed the limiter as tacho and driver is a bit slow ) Car went into Limp mode, "D" flashes on the dash. Had no auto kick down etc in limp mode. Thought I'd finally snapped my cryod input shaft but still had drive. Coasted around into a car park, shut the car down, fired it back up and all was good again. This is the first time I have experience it- but it sounds similar to the issue the other guys are getting.

    7000rpm testing success

Just wanted to pass on my thanks to Eric for sticking with this, not a huge deal for the T6 owners out there but us V8 guys need the rpm badly if nothing more than not stuffing up runs at the track trying to extract the last bit of performance. I have data logged a heap of 2-3 shifts past 7000 rpm and also some 1-2 shifts which exceeded both rpm/sec rates and the 7000rpm limit and no trans faults at all.

    Here's a quick vid taken

    http://youtu.be/poamZt-cWrw

The rpm change rate "trans fault" affects almost everyone with wheelslip on gearshift so I am sure you can take advantage of these finds Eric has made.

I manually adjusted some things in Daniel's tune. I'll be adding the parameters today.
