    And for a 3 bar t-MAP from the site Jamie referenced above we have:

    We are awaiting final specification data from Bosch on this particular item but customer information indicates the following calibration with linearity between points:

    P1 -> 11 kPa at 0.25V
    P2 -> 307 kPa at 4.75V

    P = V * 65.77778 - 5.444444 (Kpa) === V * 19.4241 - 1.6077 (inHg)

    And Bosch implies

    P1 -> 20 Kpa @ 0.5V
    P2 -> 300Kpa @ 4.5V

    which would give:
    P = V * 70 - 15 (Kpa) === V * 20.671 - 4.4295 (inHg)

    So what do you guys think as I am looking for the 3 bar map as my car also idles at the bottom of the range.

    Guys have used 4 bar sensors on the stock PCM without issue.

    Do you know what they are using to reprogram the PCM to the new MAP sensor?

    I think that's who he is referring to. Danny told me he had figured it out too.

    Sexface had the zf calibration worked out over two years ago but like that he has shared nil

    And I don't blame him either to be honest

    Yeah Danny put a 4 bar on his and it's working well he said. That was a long time ago now though. I'm not sure if he can flash the TCM Jet.

    Correct!, There was actually a good write up on fordxr6turbo.com from memory. Was years ago that I read it. Danny has HP too now and I believe he has helped Eric out with a bit of stuff also.

    Shoot me an email with your file, and the slope/offset for the MAP sensor you are switching to.

    Took a while to find it but yes the car does "idle" with the 4 bar map sensor at 44Kpa and about 1200rpm. Danny (AKA headsex) also provided a video which gives enough information for work out slope and offset. See:

    http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/to.../#entry1021952

    A mate has/had his car tuned by Danny and he reported that Danny could do the zf as well and it was at a very reasonable price (about 1/2 what other people charge).

    Another staggering effort by Eric

    Very interested in outcome.

    Toads, actually my bad as the cold start was around 1150rpm and later it was sitting at a map of about 40kpa when idling at 750rpm. Sorry about that.

    Like bugsy my car idles in gear at about 700RPM and 25Kpa.

    I was referring to Danny and the ZF tuning. Just log the MAP before and after the t-MAP change to make sure the same idle MAP is being recorded. Danny said he's changed the boost sensor also, without it the pegged boost sensor freaked out apparently.

    Boost pressure sensor that would be needed to match the 4 Bar T-Map is under BOSCH 0261230046
    You would peg the T-map before pegging this.

    I guess Toads is implying that Danny has found you can't just disable the Boost sensor unless someone (Eric?) knows a way around this.

    With respect to the 4 bar t-MAP sensor, then from Danny's video he gives us:

    100Kpa = 1.089V
    45Kpa ~= 0.493V which is suspiciously close to 0.5 and 50Kpa which is what he claims the Bosch doco says.

    So it is a trivial task to work out the Slope and Offset from his video. This would also give us an idea if the numbers we have given Eric are on the correct path. Thank you Danny

    Nah just run open loop
    And disable the boost sensor. Should work like a charm.
