'07 Silverado with E38/T42 needs segment swap to 4L80

I've got a buddy I'm trying to help out. He has a '07 Silverado with E38/T42 and wants to go from the 4L60 to a 4L80. I tried to do a segment swap using BETA, but it won't allow it. I emailed HPT's tech support and they said it's not supported on Gen 4 PCMs. I didn't expect this to be a problem, lol



Does anyone have the ability to change the file for this swap?

24243356 flash that OS for it to work. or get a t42 pcm with that os.
by "flash that os for it to work" i mean flash in an express van file, then load all of the 07 engine parameters, etc. just keep the trans settings from the express file.

so in this case you will have to waste 2 credits for the express file if you dont have unlimited creds.
