Swapped a 4l80E into a '06 1500 and had Bill do the segment swap. Trans shifts good but will not down shift sometimes. Seems like it works correctly on first start up but looses the down shifts after that. If you pull out to pass or whatever it wont drop back a gear. But sometimes it will drop back correctly. Does anyone have any ideas on this?
Look at your shift rpm's and shift speeds and then look up Cool Aid on this forum. He has a good writeup on how to set it up, but you have to base the rpm's and speed on your tire and gears setup. I saw 6900 rpm and 8100 rpm in your tune file. May be incorrect as I don't know anything about your setup.
