    07 Hemi Timing Jeep SRT-8

I just got a cam install done for a customer with a srt-8 jeep and I went to go tune it. I am commanding 28* timing but its only doing 18-22* according to the scanner. Any help would be appreciated on this. I racked my brain but couldn't figure it out. Even did a search but couldn't find anything. Thanks

28* where? There really isn't enough information in your post to help you, but if you can't log knock retard, you really won't have an idea where to start. 28* WOT timing is usually way more than most 6.1 Hemi's need, to make peak power, unless there is race fuel involved.

Try posting a log or your calibration file so we might get a better look at what's going on.

Try logging the different spark adders/modifiers and see if anything is pulling timing. Also try logging torque management parameters to see if its there. Didn't see anything in the file on a quick glance though

Holy fugnuts! NO GEN 3 or 4 HEMI (excluding old 5.7) needs 28* Remember 2 plugs per cylinder. This ain't a 350 Chevy or 302 Ford
