You have to request access from support at hptuners dot com
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies. The first method is far more difficult.

Just wanted to triple check - if a customer's 6.0L F-Series truck has even so much as a transmission tune from a programmer, the file will throw a checksum error when attempting to edit, right?

I think you are using the 2.24 vcm editor.... you need the 2.25
If the tcm has been reprogrammed it should have a good checksum. If you can communicate with it over obdII you can always write in a clean stock file that will fix any checksum issue.

If you get a checksum error, send the file into support and we can take a look at it. The way the software is setup, we look for certain things when checking the checksum. If the checksum fails, but the codes for the checksum are disabled, we can assume its a non-stock file and correct the checksum automagically.

Does anyone have a config file for the 6.0? I'm trying to read EOT and ECT also I would like to see what my IPR pressure is along with all the other good stuff.

I would like this as well as ICP. FICM voltage would be great as well.

I was under the impression the scanner didn't support the 6.0's yet? If it is supported, that would be awesome!

Any more action on FICM tuning access yet?

We would like to change some of the injector values and voltage trouble codes.

We are looking into this, but no ETA at this time. Most of our focus is on the 6.4/6.7 at the moment.

Please let me know what you find out. Are you able to run any tests to check the Glow Plugs, Injectors, Fuel Injecto Control Module, High Pressure Oil Pump HPOP, ?

    thanks!!

Haven't been able to test yet. Haven't got the beta update yet and the truck I was gonna test it on flaked out. So I'll try sometime this week.

We do not have any of the tests in there, but the parameters to log are there.
