Please tell me that the 2.25 scanner will not be restricted to 10 custom PIDs, only 7 of which are editable.

I haven't finished the maths part of the scanner yet, but it will be upwards of 100-1000 as the limit.

So this is ALMOST ready, scanner and editor both, for 2.25? Will there be an announcement or something, and last time I sent a message to support for the editor, they sent me a reply but I didn't have any options to download anything. Any idea why?

If I update the firmware will my 2.24 licenses still work?. I ask because 2.25 asks for a license when I open some previously licensed files in 2.24 (engine swaps or modified files).

There is no change.

If you have licensed a file with one version and the other ask to license it, just connect your interface and resync it to the version you are trying to use.

I have done it but still asks for a license because licensing has changed for 2.25.
I have some files I licensed for engine swaps. Later the owner did modifications like turbo, A/C, converted to Automatic, etc. so I changed the OS flashing the PCM with other tuning tools. This allowed me to enable the features I needed for the new mods (3 Bar support, RTT, DBC etc.) without losing my license.
However with those changes 2.25 asks for a license while 2.24 doesn't.

My question is, will 2.24 continue to work like before if I update the firmware? Or will the new 2.25 licensing scheme be enforced after the firmware update?

If your old licenses aren't working in 2.25, please contact support.

2.25 does not remove any existing licenses. It adds support for new ones.

I checked and didn't see it.. but I just requested it again with the scanner as well anyways, so hopefully I'll be able to get them this time around lol
