Are the SKIM Mandatory / Skim Capable effective on Dodge Ram 2006 ?

ie : if put them to disable, is the skim disabled ?

I have a customer who has changed his key and Dodge Dealer in France are not able to make restart the car (security).

No need to flash entire as VATS on GM ?

The customer is 400 miles aways so I want to be sure ;-)

I've found several posts on the forum.

Seems that the 2.25 scanner will have the capabilities to disable Skim. (Mark ?)

Will the feature be included in the next week scanner release ?

To answer your questions, no the SKIM Mandatory / SKIM Capable switches are more or less informative. The SKIM disable will be a feature of the 2.25 Scanner however I have no ETA on that feature just quite yet.

The skim disable will not work in the configuration switches. It is wrapped in a If Else statement and is always bypassed in the source code.
