VCM Scanner 2.25 Beta Now Available

I disabled my anti-virus (Avast) and downloaded a fresh copy of the installer. Upon execution, it started normally but, while copying files, it popped up an error indicating that Data Cab1 is corrupt. I clicked Retry a couple of times with no luck. Clicking ignore allowed a short resume before another error regarding a file server. See screen captures.

Again, I doubt that my anti-virus was involved because 2.24 installs without issue.

Persistence pays off, I guess. Scanner 2.25.2054 installed successfully.

Not sure if anyone else has this issue but on the NCG3, I can only log anything SAE. Nothing else will log.

What version are you running? If you have the latest (over .2000), then try deleting the .OS file in the Scanner>Vehicles folder to force it to re-poll and see if that does it. I know they had problems with the NGC3 logging, as Mark posted in the Dodge forum, but I thought they had it fixed now.

I could REALLY use some live histogram logging. Also, do you have some info on how to fill out the parameters for the histograms? I am missing something, like for logging LTFTs on the MAF table, even during playback nothing populates. OR maybe just get 2.24 scanner to play with the new vehicles (2015 1500 6.2 in this case).

after you make your changes to the graph display, close and reopen the log. This will populate the graphs.

It will work as you'd expect soon enough.

Trying to dial in MAF on 2015 Cadillac Escalade with LT1. Only parameters working in the scanner are SAE meaning I'm missing MAF Hz and so on. Doesn't matter which scanner I'm using whether it's 2.24 or 2.25. Both are updated. How do I need to go about dialing in my fueling tables?

Hi,

I downloaded the latest VCM scanner 2.25.2124 Beta. However, I tried to scan my 2014 jeep wrangler 3.6l and my issue was as per the following:
1. There will be no inputs/readings in the Graph/Histogram display during "live scanning". I have to do an engine run and save the log then the inputs/reading will appear. For example: If i have knock during wot, i will discover it after stopping and saving the file.
2. In the Graph display (Table) type, if i choose a parameter in the Column/Raw Axis there will be no values. I have to insert them manually and i can't even copy and paste from the editor.

Ok, trying to test the beta scanner. And I can't seem to figure out how to create a custom "user defined channel" It used to be easy to create a custom one using the PID numbers, but either its not working or is no longer supported.


Also the other day I was using it and I was editing the chart layout and I selected Exhaust gas temp B1S1. After I selected it a small error message popped up saying something about the sensor was out of the normal range, and it asked me to send an error report to hptuners then it closed the scanner.


I tried to read a Diagnostic code and it said 2 weeks. I assume that means its not yet available.


Also can you tell me which sensor I want to use for Fuel QTY mm3? For the LML Diesel engine? This will help me to ensure I'm creating the tables correctly when scanning.


Also I was not able to save the table either when using the beta scanner.
