If you have time.....here is the graphic and backup files. Essentially the PLX Gen 4 was setup as a User Defined WB in the 2.24 at EIO-1 (I know, I did it for him). It shows in the Channel view but I cant seem to locate it in the Graph/Chart Views. I even developed a User defined in the 2.25 but it wasn't recognized either?

    Thank you again

This will be available in the morning beta. I do believe the T42 engineering quota for the next month has been reached, however.

I just started using this Beta. 2.25.2848

Silly question that I honestly did search this thread for a potential answer.... But is there a trick or some secret handshake required to minimizing windows (tables)? I can open, maximize and close, but no option to minimize. I'm probably doing something stupid....

Nope. The layout is much more restricted.. you can't have small "floating" windows like you could in 2.24

    New beta up.

In the Parameter Selector form, there is a new Gear with a green checkbox icon. You can use this to filter out parameters that aren't backed by channels.

Excellent, did notice math parameters that are not selected in Channels still show.

You can't add Math parameters to the Channels window.

The channels window is essentially the control for outside inputs.

Math parameters are "virtual" to the application. If we added Math parameters to the Channels window, I think it would get confusing.

Math parameters always work, if the variables they reference are backed by channels.

I figured it was something like that.

One thing that initially confused me was seeing duplicate parameters in the Parameter Selector list. Example, you might see Cylinder Air Mass listed under Specific Parameters and Generic sensors. I understand now that it qualifies for both categories.

I need a better way to describe the system in the help files..

But basically, some parameters are categorized as generic sensors.

    For example:
    Engine Coolant Temp (SAE)
    Engine Coolant Temp Mfgr

Are both categorized as the generic sensor "Engine Coolant Temp".

If you define your gauge/chart/graph against the generic sensor of "Engine Coolant Temp", then no matter what you log in your channels display (SAE) or Mfgr, your gauge/chart/graph will work.

If you wire your gauge/chart/graph up to the (SAE) parameter, but you're logging the Mfgr parameter, then your gauge/chart/graph won't work.

Using the generic sensors gives you more flexibility.
