I've been asking support to get the new scanner 2.25 since Saturday, thinking it was a separate file. if you see the download link with the 2.25 in your personal link in support center, download that and install it, once you're done, go to the Hptuner folder /Beta, and scanner.exe will be there.

I already like the table view more, the table view has always bothered me...lol, sorry... as for the histo table set-up, looks great. Looks fresh and up to date guys!! When they are standing over your shoulder watching you this will look much better than the .24. Clean, profesional look to it. I give it a yes

2.25 the beta.. I thought that was pretty well explained

It adds shortcuts to your start menu.. so no need to do all that

And, by default, it opens .hpt / .hpl files

Is there a pid to log afr using the o2 sensors? If so, would that be a reliable source for wot fuel, or should I just keep with an external wideband?

All depends on what vehicle you're talking about.

Not sure if that vehicle has lambda/wide band sensors, or narrow band sensors.

They are wideband sensors. Same ones the 5.0 mustang uses. There are multiple pids that mention afr but nothing specific.

have you tried to log them? The SAE afr pids should work.

Someone should toss up some screen shots, I'd love to see what it's like. Don't need to download as I dont have a ford/dodge.

2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

How is the logging speed? Can I log more than 24 bytes now? E92 GM ECU needs this to tune correctly.

Yes. The amount of parameters you can log on any vehicle is limited only to the total number of supported parameters.

I'll give it a try tonite. I've been having trouble with the scanner kicking me off after I stop recording. An error would pop up and ask if I wanted to report to hptuners. But ill give it another try tonite. Thanks!

I attempted to log a 2005 Dodge Neon SRT-4 last night, but the only parameter that would log was TPS.

Guessing that it's simply a matter of waiting on getting all the parameters added into the new scanner before we'll have much more than that?

Seemed kind of strange that it didn't at least have the same set of parameters available for logging that the 2.24 scanner has.

I keep getting a VCM not found. Make sure key in RUN position and cable is connected. This is what is happening since I downloaded the latest 2.25 version. Scanner will not connect...

Should support many SAE parameters, and all the parameters 2.24 supports as well.

I have the beta.. and when I went to update my tune with it, it said the OS wasn't the proper version and needed to be upgraded. So, I did a write entire. It failed and I lost all communication with my VCM. Towed the car to a GM dealership and their Tech 2 wasn't able to communicate with it either. Basically my VCM is toast. Luckily I had a friend who has a spare one.

My question is... I've updated the configs on my car many many times without fail. I've done one write entire prior to this one and it went fine. Did I screw up in trusting the Beta to complete a write entire? Did I do something wrong or was it the software?

This was on a 2007 Saturn Sky Redline. (LNF)

Is there a keyboard shortcut to navigate the histograms? I.e. in 2.24 you can use the 1 through 0 keys to flip through the different histograms. That isn't working on the beta.

Can something like this be added? Pretty please?
