    93 silverado 6.2m5 swap need help finding vats delete switch

    im stuck any help is appreciated

    ive looked in engine, engine diag and in systems and cant find a vats enable/disable switch anywhere

    ive read entire and done the write entire also and still its not popping up

    I should also post that im using an 07 harness and pcm from a Silverado 5.3 because the pcm used prior to this swap was locked out by lsedit

    Click on the OS tab. And a Write Entire is required after you disable it.

    When I click on hp os it has 5 tabs but none are highlighted and all say not available to the right of them

    Below it does say a write entire must be performed for these changes to take effect

    Edit>View - make sure Advanced is selected then look in the OS Tab again. VATS will not show up under Basic view. This is assuming you are using a 07 E38 and not a 07 Classic P59 since it is running a 6.2L.

    That I'm not sure of, I'll have to go look at my receipt from the salvage yard to see what it says

    It is an e38 according to the file and your idea worked man, it showed up immediately, thanks a bunch. I was really not wanting to buy a new definition file for CATS
